A period tracker that never asks who you are.
No email. No password. No profile. My Bloom Buddy keeps your cycle on your own device — we cannot see it, because it never leaves your phone.
Try it free on the App Store →Why almost every other tracker wants an account
An account is not there for your benefit. It exists so the app can keep your data on its servers instead of your phone. That does buy you one real convenience — your history follows you to a new device. But it also means the most intimate record you keep of your own body is sitting in a company database, attached to your email address, under whatever privacy policy happens to apply this year.
Once the data is there, it can be analysed to build a profile of you, shared with “partners” you never hear of, folded into an advertising audience, or handed over if the company is bought, breached, or compelled. None of that requires anyone to be a villain. It only requires your data to exist somewhere that is not your pocket.
What we do instead
My Bloom Buddy stores your period start date and cycle length in your own device's local storage, and calculates everything there. There is no server holding your cycle, so there is no database to breach, no profile to sell, and no request anyone could make of us that would produce your information. We are not promising to be careful with your data. We are telling you we never receive it.
What that means day to day
- Nothing to sign up for. Open it and it works.
- No password to forget — and none to be stolen in someone else's breach.
- It works offline. On a plane, with data off, anywhere.
- Delete the app and the data is gone. There is no copy anywhere else.
- No ads, ever — which is only possible because you are not the product.
The trade-off, stated fairly
Keeping everything on your device has one real cost: your history does not sync to a new phone, and if you delete the app it does not come back. We think that is the right trade for something this personal — but you should choose it knowingly rather than discover it later.
Common questions
Is there a period tracker that does not require an account?
Yes. My Bloom Buddy has no account, no sign-up, and no login. You open it and it works. Your period start date and cycle length are saved only in your own device’s storage, so there is no profile of you to create, no password to forget, and nothing for us to look up.
Why do most period apps ask you to create an account?
An account lets an app store your data on its servers rather than your phone. That enables syncing across devices, but it also means your cycle history sits in a company database, tied to an email address, where it can be analysed, shared with partners, or sold as part of an advertising profile. My Bloom Buddy keeps the data on your device instead, so none of that is possible.
What data does My Bloom Buddy collect?
None of your health data. Not your period dates, not your cycle length, not your notes. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracker in the app. Your cycle information stays on your device and is never uploaded.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Because everything is calculated on your device and nothing is fetched from a server, the app works with no connection at all — on a plane, in a basement, or with mobile data switched off entirely.
What happens to my data if I delete the app?
It is gone. Your dates live in your device’s local storage, so removing the app removes the data with it. There is no copy on a server to request, export, or ask us to delete, because one was never made.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. My Bloom Buddy is free for your first 30 days on the App Store — the full app, no commitment. After that, a single one-time $9.99 unlock keeps it forever, with no subscription and no ads.
